Hi there! We are Jillian and Jeraldine, but most people call us Jill and Jerry. We are the owners of Risette Dental Hygiene and independent dental hygiene practitioners (aka: dental hygienists with a bachelor’s degree in dental science). And no, you aren’t seeing double, we are in fact sisters : )

Both of us are proud UBC Alumni, graduating in 2013 and 2014. For the years we overlapped, we even became roommates again – just like old times! Clearly we enjoy being joint at the hip, as a few years post-graduation, we ended up working at the same dental office. Finally, in 2024, with a decade of experience each under our belts, we decided to open a dental hygiene clinic together!

Hi, I’m Jeraldine but everyone calls me Jerry : ) I am the 2nd born of 5 kids, so I'm the "big sister" of the family, but ironically the shortest of the bunch. I graduated in 2013 so I've worked as a dental hygienist for over a decade now!

I'm a sugar cookie enthusiast, and I love getting creative with baking and decorating. I am also obsessed with organizing and cleaning! But I have to admit that most of my spare time is often spent with my husband, Cory, chilling out and catching up on our favourite TV shows.

I really enjoy being a dental hygienist and aspire to provide a relaxing and calm environment for my patients. My goal is to make your dental visit as pleasant and efficient as possible!

Hello, I’m Jill! I was born in Singapore in ‘93 (and an Aries, in case you wanted to know). I've worked in private practice in Langley since graduating in 2014, and I now live in Walnut Grove with my husband, Joo.

I love to travel, though I admit it is mostly to eat delicious food! I also love DIY nail art, amateur interior design, and adore dogs and animals. My greatest talents are sleeping in well past noon and a drycleaner-like ability to get stains out of things.

As a hygienist, I strive to be gentle, attentive, and evidence-based. I’ll always try to make your appointments fun (and fast!). I love to chit-chat and like to hum to the music, but totally get it if you just want to listen to a podcast or nap. I take your comfort seriously - please let me know how I can help you love dental visits and your smile : )

Today I visited Risette Dental Hygiene in Latimer Village. Their service was so good that it's hard to put into words. Also, I was grateful that they sent me a reminder message via email and phone. It was so comfortable that I almost fell asleep while receiving dental cleaning, and polishing. I am very satisfied with the results of the treatment, and I appreciate the professionalism and kindness throughout the service process and highly recommend them.

I had an outstanding experience at Risette Dental Hygiene for both teeth cleaning and whitening. Jill and Jerry were professional, warm, and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The clinic itself was spacious, clean, and inviting.

I've never been a fan of getting my teeth cleaned, but Jerry's friendly, thorough, and gentle approach made the experience surprisingly pleasant. It didn't feel like a typical dental cleaning. As for the teeth whitening, being my first time, Jerry provided a clear explanation of the procedure and patiently answered all my questions. The large TV in each room made the waiting time during the whitening process enjoyable and relaxing.

Visiting a regular dental office has never given me such a relaxing and satisfying experience. I am absolutely thrilled with the results.

I had such a lovely experience at Risette Dental. My cleaning with Jillian was fast, comfortable, and very thorough. My mouth felt spotless! I recently visited Risette Dental Hygiene in Latimer Village to get my teeth whitened. Jill and Jerry were so welcoming as soon as I arrived and made me feel comfortable instantly. Their clinic was also spotless and spacious, with plenty of natural light.

Given it was my first time with teeth whitening, I was slightly nervous but Jill did a fantastic job explaining the procedure and answering my questions in detail. It was such an easy, painless, and relaxing process that I fell asleep! There was even a large TV situated above me which provided some entertainment while I waited during the procedure. From start to finish – it felt like a premium dental experience. I’ll definitely be back for a cleaning next time.

I had an exceptional dental cleaning experience at Risette. The hygienist used a combination of hand scaling and power tools, which made my teeth feel incredibly clean. She was meticulous, checking everything 2-3 times, which I really appreciated. I will definitely go back for future cleanings and highly recommend Risette to all my friends.

Amazing Experience! For the first time in my life, I look forward to my dental cleanings because of Jillian. Her cleanings are extremely thorough and meticulous, and my teeth have never looked better since seeing her. I have a bit of an anxiety going for dental work but my cleaning with Jerry was the most relaxing part of my day! The entire apt didn't feel so "clinical". Sunday evening was quiet, never felt rushed. Jerry answered questions, gave me feedback on my at home dental care. I don't have dental plan so she did what was necessary without compromise, no upselling, just a great cleaning! Great care and I will be certain to be back and recommend to friends and family.
